Description

The property in Thielallee in Berlin Steglitz-Zehlendorf is made up of 26 individual buildings from different construction periods, some of which are listed buildings. The site has historically been used as an office and laboratory complex by various authorities and institutions. Building no. 7 was built in 1963 and is one of the buildings that is not listed. It is to be converted into a laboratory building to accommodate additional laboratory requirements. The flexibility for future use and the ability to subdivide the building are key planning elements. The aim is to plan a sustainable and future-proof, flexible building with a low use of resources. The Assessment System for Sustainable Building (BNB) is to be applied with Silver Standard, BIM planning in compliance with the BNB specifications. The entire building services in Building no. 7 are outdated and need to be replaced.
